The Vine Food Bank Open For Deliveries @ The Vine - More Than A Food Bank
Apr 9 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The Vine is more than a food bank – it is a place where people can find a listening ear and be signposted to other support services in times of particular need.

On Tuesday and Friday evenings we endeavour to have volunteers at The Vine between 7 &8pm to receive donations from the general public and church and other organisations. Very occasionally our volunteer team are unable to cover this period, and whilst we always try to make sure someone is there, sometimes for reasons beyond our control, we’re just not able to. Please forgive us if you ever attempt to make a delivery between 7-8pm on a Tuesday or Friday and find The Vine is closed. Be assured that this is a very rare occurrence.

Please note – The Vine is NOT located at Timebridge Community Centre. It is down the lane between houses 11 & 13 Salcot Crescent, New Addington.

Last Sunday of the month – Sung worship usually led by the children and youth of the church – followed by small group Bible discussions or a variety of other activities depending on the month.

All other Sundays there is Sunday School provided part-way through the service for the children.

SINGCR0NISE COMMUNITY CHOIR @ New Addington Leisure Centre
Apr 11 @ 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm

SingCR0nise, New Addington’s Community Choir was formed in 2008.

Rehearsals are on Sundays at New Addington Leisure Centre from 4.30-5.30pm. As a rule of thumb, throughout the year we don’t rehearse during school holidays (including the Sundays at either end of the holiday). If you’re coming for the first time, please check that there is a rehearsal by emailing new.addington@salvationarmy.org.uk.

There is no charge to be in the choir and it’s a great way to meet new people and learn a new skill. You don’t need to be able to read music or words as songs are taught by rote (memory), and you don’t need to be a great singer – just someone who enjoys singing! Even in the shower!

Children in school year 7 and over are welcome, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Adults are welcome on their own!

If you’re looking to make new friends there’s no better way to start your week! Newcomers ALWAYS welcome!
