Sunday Worship (10.30am)
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS CRISIS OUR SUNDAY GATHERINGS ARE CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE ONLINE VIA ZOOM. For more information, please email matt.spencer@salvationarmy.org.uk
Under usual circumstances, when we’re able to meet, we are very much a ‘come as you are’ kind of church.
On the first and last Sunday of each month the whole congregation stays together for an hour or so of ‘All-Age Worship’, so-called because, unsurprisingly, it’s aimed at people of all ages!
On the weeks in-between, generally the children leave mid-way through the service for age-appropriate Sunday School classes with our team of DBS approved children’s workers.
Our worship services always include what we call a ‘Time of Sharing’. This is essentially a time when anyone, from the youngest to the oldest, can share anything they like – from prayer requests about health or work issues, to good news and information about what’s going on at school etc. It’s a great way for us all to get to know what’s going on in each other’s lives so we can become closer as a family. Not everyone shares, and there’s no pressure, but the opportunity’s there for anyone who wants to.
As a church, we firmly believe that worshiping together doesn’t stop at singing songs, reading the Bible, listening to a Bible thought and so on, but worship can equally take the form of serving our community, which we love to do in a variety of creative ways.
We’d love to welcome you to share in worship with us.
