About New Addington Salvation Army Community Church

New Addington Salvation Army Community Church (affectionately known as NASA!) has served the community of New Addington for over 60 years.

We’re a mixed-age, multi-ethnic congregation – a big, diverse family! Our worship is relaxed and informal and we warmly welcome whoever wants to worship with us.

We strive to be innovative in how we serve our community, and have become well-known over the years for our Christmas events, including our Pantomime, which played to capacity crowds of around 1200 people every year for a decade. We also run an annual Christmas Gift Appeal, which provides over 150 local families with presents and food at Christmas. This is in addition to the provision throughout the year via The Vine FoodBank, which we also run, alongside other support tailored to the needs of local people.

We are also involved in the New Addington Carnival celebrations each year.

NASA runs ‘SingCR0nise – New Addington’s Community Choir’, which has performed at a number of local events. (Check out the SingCR0nise page of the website).

We also work in partnership with other local agencies and groups involved in serving the people of New Addington and Fieldway.

Our motto is ‘Love God. Love Others.’ and we try to take both seriously as we seek to serve the people of New Addington and Fieldway in a variety of ways.
