Did you know that The Salvation Army can conduct weddings?
Well, we can!
You do not need to be a member of The Salvation Army, but you will need to commit to attend a series of marriage preparation classes with Matt & Emma, the church leaders. This is to provide you with as strong a foundation as possible on which to build your marriage.
Before agreeing to conduct any marriage, church leaders Matt & Emma will meet with the couple for an informal conversation where both parties can explore whether The Salvation Army is the right church to conduct the wedding.
As The Salvation Army is not the ‘Established Church’ in the UK (unlike the Church of England), a registrar is required to officiate at the wedding.
